Perekrestka online hypermarket switches from SAP to Russian ERP

The online hypermarket of the Perekrestok chain of stores Vprok.ru (part of the X5 group) plans to migrate from SAP to the Russian solution. This follows from the description of the vacancy of the architect "1C," published on the hh.ru of June 21^[1]

For this project, it is still necessary to choose the solutions to which to move with SAP, and work out the target architecture for the translation of a number of corporate systems "taking into account sanctions."

The online hypermarket Vprok.ru operates on its own infrastructure and IT circuit. In recent months, Vprok.ru has been actively working on various options for replacing existing systems with domestic ones for risk mitigation, and is also considering ways to optimize processes. One, but not the only, solution under consideration is "1C," explained TAdviser in X5.

Which systems and processes Vprok.ru plans to transfer from SAP to domestic products, X5 could not clarify TAdviser, as well as plans for migration with SAP in other projects of the group.

Vprok.ru offers more than 72 thousand goods with home delivery in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Leningrad regions, Nizhny Novgorod, Tula, Ryazan, Veliky Novgorod, Vladimir and Kazan and Innopolis.

The SAP enterprise resource management system based on the SAP for Retail solution has been implemented in X5 since 2008, when the company included two main assets - the Pyaterochka and Perekrestok networks. And the replication of the system was completed in 2011.

Against the background of Russia's special operation in Ukraine, we recall that SAP first suspended sales in Russia, and later decided to completely curtail business in the country until the end of 2022.
