2022: Patriot Modular Device Announcement

On June 23, 2022, Stabtech announced that three-phase monoblock and modular systems of the Syber Electro brand are fully ready to work with arrays of lithium-ion batteries.

According to the company, the demand for the use of lithium-ion batteries is growing from year to year. Previously, the main consumers were large data centers and electric vehicles; as of June 2022, similar solutions can be found at industrial facilities and enterprises, where even a slight gain in efficiency will lead to a noticeable economic effect.

The Syber Electro line features two series of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies that are completely out of the box ready to work with lithium-ion battery arrays - Legion and Patriot.

The Legion-3F series is designed to work in small data centers and at industrial facilities. UPS are available in capacities from 10kVA to 250kVA. The ability to connect to parallel operation of up to four devices allows you to build a system of guaranteed power supply with a total total power of up to 1MVA. 

Patriot modular devices are built on 20kVA power modules and are available in 60kVA, 120kVA, 2000kVA configurations. Such systems are used in engineering networks, telecommunications systems, in the military-industrial complex, data center, petrochemical and gas sectors.

Readiness to work with complete lithium batteries expands the application of these solutions:

• Long service life. The actual life of lithium batteries is 10 + years (with a predicted reduction in capacity). Lead batteries during this period will have to be completely changed 1-2 times.
• Comparable in cost, and sometimes cheaper, in the horizon of 10 years of operation, taking into account the necessary replacement and utilization of an array of lead-acid batteries during this period.
• Wider range of operating temperatures. The maximum operating temperature of lithium batteries is + 40 ° C, which reduces the requirements for room conditioning.
• Only scheduled maintenance will be required, which will lead to a decrease in TCO. The life of lithium batteries is 10 + years, for this period of time it is not necessary to set an additional budget for the unexpected change of the battery array.
• Compactness and less weight. The weight of lithium batteries is 2-2.5 times less than lead-acid analogues, which provides less load on the ceilings. Smaller sizes save up to 80% of the area.
• 10 times the number of discharge-charge cycles: lead-acid resource 300-500, lithium up to 3000.
• Optimized charge cycle of lithium batteries without reducing battery life (2-3 times faster if the UPS charger allows).
