On June 24, 2022, AXELOT announced the implementation of the real-time warehouse management capability for MasterDom.

The introduction of Axelot WMS X5 allowed MasterDom to monitor the warehouse in real time and improve the efficiency of warehouse logistics.

The MasterDom warehouses store a wide range of goods, and the number of orders is growing all the time, so it has become difficult to manage the warehouse "manually." In addition, the company's management wanted to fully control all warehouse business processes in real time. It is for this that the company decided to automate warehouse logistics.

AXELOT was invited by the MasterDom management to work on the project. The contractor was chosen thanks to his extensive implementation experience and the availability of his own software solutions at an affordable price. Among them is the AXELOT WMS X5 system, which was implemented at the distributor's warehouse.

The total area of ​ ​ the MasterDom warehouse complex in the Moscow Region is more than 5,000 square meters. meters, it consists of three rooms remote from each other, which store more than 1700 SKU.

Before the implementation of WMS in the warehouse, it was not possible to control the shelf life of warehouse balances, all operations depended on personnel, which increased the likelihood of errors. The lack of the ability to quickly track the condition of the warehouse and operations negatively affected the speed of management decisions.

During the project, a number of technological solutions were applied, thanks to which the efficiency of the warehouse was increased. So, now a buffer zone is used for sampling, the need for it arose due to the inability to allocate a separate zone for sampling. The use of indirect partial sampling allows you to move storage places by selection tasks to driveways, where the selection actually takes place.

It is possible to replenish the storage area of the main warehouse from warehouses where there is no single and boxed sampling, but there are the necessary stocks of products.

Users can print labels of storage objects or locations with shipping documentation at any time, for example, to recover lost labels.

The cell sections are configured so that they can be used to store different types of goods in a warehouse within the same rack. With this mechanism, you can solve tasks related to the control of the occupancy of not only one cell, but also the entire section of the rack.

With the company's CIS, the AXELOT WMS X5 system was integrated using the DATAREON MQ message queuing service.

The introduction of AXELOT WMS X5 made it possible to automate warehouse processes, practically reduce the impact of the human factor on the warehouse, optimize the storage of goods, keep records in the context of batches and shelf life, and also implement the ability to manage the warehouse at the operational level in real time.
