2022: HTC A100 Launches
On July 5, 2022, it became known that the company HTC began sales tablet computer A100 at the retail base OS Android the Russian.
According to the company, Russian buyers are offered the HTC A100 tablet in a single configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The color is also the same so far - dark gray with a black front panel, although there is a mention of a silver shade on the manufacturer's website.
In this version, HTC A100 costs 21 thousand rubles. The cost includes support for fourth-generation cellular networks (4G, LTE), and not third (3G), as is often the case in tablets. This is very important, since Russian operators are gradually disconnecting 3G networks. For example, by the end of 2022, Beeline will turn them off in Moscow and the Moscow region, and in 2023 - in another 25 Russian regions.
HTC A100 should not be confused with the A101 model, announced in the summer of 2022. The A100 of the September 2021 model differs from it, among other things, in the 12-megapixel main camera instead of the 16 MP module.
The HTC A100, in addition to access to cellular networks, has a large 10.1-inch screen with relatively thin (for a tablet) bezels and Full HD + or 1920x1200 pixels. It displays the interface of the modern Android 11 OS and the applications it supports. The display itself is built on an IPS matrix with viewing angles of 178 degrees vertically and horizontally and has a density of 224 pixels per inch.
The heart of the Taiwanese tablet A100 is the Taiwanese Unisoc processor T618 Unisoc. Until 2018, it was called Spreadtrum and specialized in weak processors for cheap smartphones.
Unisoc T618 does not apply to these. This is a CPU of August 2019 with a 12-nanometer process technology, giving over 252 thousand points in AnTuTu 9 and more than 1300 points in multi-core mode in Geekbench 5. This was made possible by two high-performance Cortex-A75 cores at 2000 MHz and six energy efficient 1800 MHz Cortex-A55. The Mali G52 MP2 dual-core accelerator is responsible for graphics processing in it.
HTC A100 comes with DDR3 RAM. The type of built-in storage is unknown, but it can be supplemented with a 256 GB microSD card. There is a dual slot for SIM cards, both have support for LTE Cat.4.
A 7000 mAh battery charged via USB-C is responsible for powering all the electronics of the tablet. There is no fast charging here - a maximum of 10W.
From the interfaces in the tablet there is an input under, earphones Bluetooth 5.0 and, Wi-Fi 802.11ac aka Wi-Fi 5, with support for 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. navigation The modules are responsible for, and. GPS Galileo GLONASS
The front camera in the A100 has a resolution of 5 MP, fixed focus and an aperture of f/2.2. Additional features include face recognition unlocking and HD video recording (1280x720 pixels). The rear module consists of 13 and 2 MP sensors with an f/2.2 aperture for both. The main sensor received autofocus. The rear camera writes videos in Full HD at 30 personnel per second[1].
