Geekspace on August 1, 2022 announced the launch of an applicant's personal account for the Altai Academy of Hospitality.

The development allowed applicants of a secondary special educational institution to submit an application and receive data on its status in their personal account on the organization's website. With the help of the service for August 2022, more than 200 applications were submitted. In the academic year 2022-2023, KGBPOU "Altai Academy of Hospitality" plans to accept 796 students for budget places and 315 for extra-budgetary ones.

Often, the applicant forgot to send the required document or indicate the necessary information. Our specialists corresponded with almost every incoming person. It took a long time and could lead to conflict situations. It was also uncomfortable for applicants, especially if they are nonresident. With the introduction of the applicant's personal account, the speed of processing applications increased significantly, - explained Olesya Vyacheslavovna Sukhorukova.

As explained by the project manager of Geekspace Valentin Gudriyan, 1C functionality was used to set up a personal account: PROF College. The algorithm for applying for an appointment through a personal account looks like this: the applicant presses a button on the Academy's website, registers under a unique login, enters the field for filling out the questionnaire, where he enters all the necessary information, and sends an application for moderation. The technical secretary of the educational institution gets acquainted with the incoming questionnaire - and assigns it status.

In accordance with the requirements of Rosobrnadzor, the educational institution must accept, process and respond to the acceptance of an application within 3 days. With the help of a personal account, this period was reduced to 1 day. The questionnaire enters the institution's database and participates in the rating, which is updated online. The applicant can see his position in the list of applicants for the specialty of interest to him and, if necessary, adjust his plans. Also, information about changing the status of the application will come to the e-mail specified during registration. It is important to note that this method of filing documents fully complies with the legislation of the Russian Federation on personal data. We are working on integration with Public services - then most of the information will not need to be filled out manually. Also in the future, it is planned to expand the functionality of the personal account so that it serves the student throughout the learning process, - explained an employee of Geekspace.
