2024: Ninebot starts sales - D28U, E2 Plus and E2 Pro

On February 20, 2024, diHouse announced the start of sales on the Russian market of three Ninebot scooter models - D28U, E2 Plus and E2 Pro. Scooters can reach speeds of up to 25 km/h, are equipped with durable and elastic tubeless tires that give excellent grip, cushion bumps and allow you to comfortably travel long distances.

All Ninebot electric scooter models are equipped with powerful batteries with protection against overheating, recharge, short circuit and auto-switch function at low charge. Scooters are made of high-strength carbon steel, equipped with a wide deck with a non-slip and damping rubberized surface. A big advantage of the solutions is the folding design of the case and light weight, which is convenient for using an electric scooter in the city and easily allows you to carry it with you by public transport or in a private car, as well as store it in a city apartment.

Ninebot E2 Pro, E2 Plus and D28U electric scooters have a dual braking system with one drum and one electronic brake, which work together and instantly respond to user actions, providing him with fast and smooth braking on any type of road. The E2 Pro has a front drum brake with a handle drive on the steering wheel, the back is electronic with E-ABS and Anti-Skid electronic stabilization system, which prevents drifting or slipping when driving on a slippery surface. The D28U and E2 Plus models are equipped with an E-ABS front electronic brake and a manual rear drum.

Ninebot KickScooter D28U is an urban electric scooter with a brushless motor (300 W), IPX5 moisture protection degree and 5th generation BMS intelligent battery management system that ensures its reliability and safety. Even after 500 charge cycles or 5 years of operation, the battery will remain more than 75% efficient. The scooter is equipped with 10-inch puncture-resistant tires with an anti-slip tread pattern that provides improved braking and side-slip protection.

The weight of the model is 15.4 kg, it is equipped with a bright LED headlight with a lighting range of 13.5 m. A large and bright display will allow you to quickly switch between modes and speeds. The Ninebot Kickscooter E2 Plus electric scooter is a compact urban model with a carrying capacity of 90 kg, 8.1-inch tubeless tires and a range of 25 km. The scooter is ideal as the first individual means of transportation, weighs only 14.4 kg, is equipped with a 300 W engine and has 3 speed modes: 5 km/h, 20 km/h, 25 km/h. The speed, mode and other parameters are displayed on the LED display. Bright front headlamp and deck illumination simplify orientation in space in the dark. The case (IPX4) and battery (IPX6) are protected from dirt and moisture, which makes it convenient to ride a scooter in any weather.

The Ninebot Kickscooter E2 Pro electric scooter is equipped with a 750W brushless motor, IPX5 class moisture protection and Smart BMS battery control system that provides reliable operation and battery life. You can quickly switch between speed modes, track the charge level, current speed and distance traveled on a convenient 2.8 ″ display. Due to the high brightness of the display, all data will be displayed correctly even in sunny weather. You can also track travel information in the Segway-Ninebot mobile application.

2023: Kickscooter E2 Pro entering the Russian market

The company diHouse (part of the group) LANIT on November 22, 2023 announced the signing of distributor an agreement electroscooters with the Segway-Ninebot brand, having received the rights to promote the Kickscooter E2 Pro model.

According to analytical agencies, by the end of 2023, the Russian market for electric scooters will exceed the mark of 190 thousand devices sold. If we talk about Ninebot, the company's share increased to 16.6% in the 2023 season (an increase of 41% year-on-year). As of November 2023, the brand confidently holds the second place in sales, and in the A-segment it is an unambiguous leader. Separately, it is worth mentioning the growth of the e-scooter rental market (kicksharing). According to forecasts, in Russia it will triple by 2025 compared to the results of 2022 and reach 39.5 billion rubles.

The E2 Pro electric scooter is a high-speed model with a good battery capacity that allows you to cover a distance of up to 40 km on a single charge. The maximum speed that the E2 Pro develops is 25 km/h. The rear-wheel-drive 750W engine, combined with 10-inch tubeless tyres, helps you navigate rough terrain with maximum comfort. The traction control system prevents the wheels from losing traction, making it possible to move in wet weather and on slippery surfaces.

The dual brake system, which includes a front drum brake and a rear electronic brake, makes riding an electric scooter safer. An anti-glare front light with a range of 13.5m, front and rear turn indicators, as well as a rear stop light allow you to travel even at night.

Due to its small dimensions and intuitive folding design, the model is convenient to store and transport in the subway, on the train, in the trunk of the car, on the bus. The scooter is protected from moisture and street dirt: battery protection class - IPX6, case protection class - IPX4. Smart BMS battery management system ensures the correct operation of the battery when driving, charging and storing, and also increases the service life. The system provides protection against short circuit, overcurrent, recharge/re-discharge, temperature difference, automatic sleep mode at reduced voltage.

The steering wheel is equipped with a convenient 2.8-inch dashboard. With its help, you can easily change speed modes, monitor the battery charge level, current speed and other important parameters. In addition, the electric scooter is synchronized with the Segway-Ninebot mobile application, with which you can view the route of the trip, analyze statistics. iPhone owners can use the Apple Find My app and find their geolocation electric scooter.

2022: GT1 and GT2

On July 30, 2022, Segway announced that GT electric scooters from Segway-Ninebot were presented in Moscow. Two models, the GT1 and GT2, were created by the Segway Innovation Group development and engineering team.

According to the company, artificial straight tracks were created for the test, as well as tracks with obstacles and complex coverage that imitate rough terrain. Guests could test the all-wheel drive GT2 with a clear display and its smaller brother, the single-engine GT1 with a traditional display. Young visitors for whom the GT series is not available by age marking were offered to ride on other devices, in particular GoKart cards and MechaKit game furs.

Grass and gravel paths were offered for the test to those who like to ride in the suburbs, and the labyrinth of the urban jungle with steep corners and the track with speed bumps are those who emphasize urban mobility. Visitors were able to make sure GT scooters were comfortable in a variety of road conditions.

Those wishing to experience the speed of GT were offered a virtual reality attraction: the racer got up on a GT2 on a special platform, after which he put on a virtual reality helmet, which allowed him to rush through the famous sights of Moscow in a simulated computer universe. This ride made it possible to ride the GT at speed and see what a transparent display would look like when driving on the road.

GT engines are powerful enough for the scooter to overcome difficult obstacles even on rough terrain, and withstand up to 150 kg of load. At the same time, even in difficult conditions, a wide deck provides a pleasant ride that makes it comfortable to place your legs, as well as front and rear hydraulic suspensions, adjustable depending on the weight of the rider and the degree of his riding skills. In order to assess the quality of these components, the presentation guests were invited to ride a scooter, cross a bumpy path and even jump on a deck.

GT series scooters provide the rider with more control and customization capabilities with six speeds and fifteen levels of suspension adjustment. As part of the event, employees of the Russian showroom Segway-Ninebot helped guests deal with these elements so that everyone could discover the right driving mode and driving style. At the same time, visitors noted that they were struck not only by the functionality of the design, but also by its style. In particular, the buyers were attracted by the dashboard and the GT steering wheel, the controls on which were compared with a motorcycle and an F1 car (on the steering wheel there is a similar rotary gas handle and mode switch buttons).
