2022: Launch of online drug marketplace

In August 2022, it became known about the launch by Pulse of an Internet pharmacy on the website polza.ru. The largest pharmaceutical distributor in Russia launched a marketplace for the online sale of drugs later than competitors, so it will be difficult for it to gain a foothold in this market, experts interviewed by Kommersant say.

The Polza.ru project arose on the basis of the site "Pharmacy Forte," follows from the information on the portal website. It also says that by August 2022, more than 8 thousand partner pharmacies in 1.36 thousand settlements were connected to the service. It is not yet possible to make an order home, only at one of the partner points. Among the largest pharmacy chains that have already connected to the Polza.ru, according to the service's website, are Farmland and Planet Health.

FC "Pulse" launched an online pharmacy

The online sales market for pharmacy goods has the potential for development, despite high competition, says DSM Group CEO Sergei Shulyak. According to him, by August 2022, orders on the Internet account for about 12% of sales of pharmacy chains, and in the future they may grow to 30%. "Pulse" was a little delayed in entering the market, Nikolai Bespalov, Development Director of RNC Pharma, disagrees.

Its own marketplace for the distributor is also an additional platform for sales and communication with pharmacies, says Sergey Shulyak. The online project is also a certain service that the distributor provides to its partners, simultaneously achieving "binding" to itself, Nikolai Bespalov added in a conversation with the newspaper.

By August 8, 2022, remote trade in only over-the-counter drugs is allowed. In March 2023, it is planned to launch a pilot project for the online sale of prescription drugs. It is assumed that it will be held on the basis of the marketplace Ozon in, and To Moscow Moscow Belgorod regions^[1]
