2020: Creating an online store

Clothes and shoes are among the top ten best-selling products on the Internet. The sphere is developing intensively and users have the opportunity to compare services and get more comfortable conditions. At the same time, companies have a task by expanding the functionality of digital solutions to attract more customers and convert user interest into orders. Brands have a need for additional marketing tools and regular upgrades to the existing online store.

Task

It was necessary to create a new distribution channel - a site that will attract customers and become a single entry point for content management.

Decisions

Design

Based on Palmetta's own pre-project research and analytical data, a prototype and site design.

Three different options for finding and choosing underwear:

  • selection by brand-linked collection
  • classic - selection by category, filtering and sorting
  • catalog of new products with built-in pre-order

For the company's regular buyer:

  • personal account with the ability to check the bonus balance
  • individual prices in the catalog
  • notifications and reminders of new products and personal offers

Marketing tools on the project:

  • up-sale and cross-sale blocks in the item card
  • mailings for registered users of the site
  • reviews in the item card
  • individual pricing based on purchase history and loyalty program data

Project results

The online store is successfully operating and has already provided an increase in new customers, as well as re-orders of loyal customers. The project continues to be supported and the impact of the added functionality on the choice of users and an increase in online sales is visible. In the future, it is planned to scale the solution to all the company's products.
