The domestic scanner ElarScan A2-600R will allow streaming to scan sewn and embroidered library documents in a format up to A2 +. Moreover, it works equally carefully and safely both with originals in good condition and with dilapidated, time-damaged pages. The professional CMOS RGB 50MP camera provides ample opportunities for digitizing weak contrast texts, as well as graphics, which is especially important for the library of the University of Architecture and Construction. Library specialists will be able to easily adjust the V-shaped manual book cradle to different thicknesses of the originals, changing the opening angle by 90, 120 and 180 degrees. The scanner allows you to create electronic copies of reference quality for books up to 15 cm thick and weighing up to 15 kg,
said the head of the scientific and technical library of SPbGASU Elena Gennadyevna Romanova.
