2022: Migration of 150 robots to Atom.RITA
On September 13, 2022, Greenatom JSC will provide migration services for 150 X5 Group robots based on its own development - software robotization platform Atom.RITA"." Within agreements Greenatom will deploy the platform in the Kh5 infrastructure, conduct migration software robots from the UiPath platform, applying practices building robots, and will perform maintenance [[Software 'software collateral]].
The departure of foreign vendors of RPA platforms forced many Russian companies make a decision on the transition to domestic decisions. X5 Group also collided with the need to migrate its software robots to domestic software for ensuring the functioning of the company's business processes. The task of choice was complicated by the fact that that the decision had to be made in a short time due to the impossibility of extension import software licenses.
{{quote 'We have reviewed and tested the most common domestic solutions of this class - Primo, Pix, Sherpa, Robin. When choosing an RPA platform, the following indicators were taken into account: the number, load and functionality of robotic scenarios. It is important for us that the platform ensures the stable operation of our robots, meets the requirements of information security, is convenient for developers, and also reduces the cost of developing new robots to increase the share of robotization in the Company's business processes. The choice of Greenatom as a supplier of the RPA platform allows us to solve 2 problems at once - import substitution of foreign software and conduct a large-scale migration of the robot fleet, which to Greenatom is not just a vendor, but also an integrator with a large team of professionals and many years of experience in RPA, which was confirmed during the pilot. For the pilot, we chose 3 complex productive scenarios, a 1-to-1 comparison with the implemented processes on one of the best Western platforms was required. The implementation of 3 processes took 15 working days, an expert team from the Greenatom was allocated for the pilot, - 6 developers, analyst, architect, timlid and project manager. As a result of the pilot, the code of robots was optimized, which will facilitate their support in the future, the processing time has been reduced, the implementation and quality of the output data has been fully confirmed by the business customer, "said X5 Group's robotization manager Evgeny Shstenko "'.}}
We were interested in participating in a joint pilot project with such an experienced company in terms of robotization as Kh5. We are glad that we were not only able to successfully pass the test of our product in "combat" conditions, but also to help our colleagues in resolving the issue of import substitution. Many years of Kh5 experience in the robotization of complex business processes made it possible to form a backlog of improvements, many of which were often implemented during the pilot under the requirements of the Customer, which allowed the platform to become even better. The results of the pilot project proved that the Greenatom team is able not only to create and implement high-quality digital solutions, but also to solve complex non-standard tasks of the Customer, - said Margarita Konnykh, head of the software robotization department. |
Our own experience in migrating from a foreign platform allows us to optimize the time and cost of migration, which is extremely important for Customers with a large number of software robots implemented on foreign solutions. For Customers with a large portfolio of robotic processes, an unlimited license can reduce TCO by more than 2 times by 5 years compared to Western solutions.
