Biography

He graduated from St. Petersburg State Technical University with a degree in Technical Physics. For many years, Sergey held senior positions in large telecommunications companies (PJSC Rostelecom, Start Telecom OJSC, VimpelCom group of companies), where he oversaw commercial issues of interaction with colleagues in the industry.

Sergey Yakovlev joined the TransTeleCom Company team in 2010, heading the Department for Work with Telecom Operators. Subsequently, he held the positions of Head of the Department of Business Development in the Corporate and State Market, Director for Telecom Business.

2023: Deputy General Director for Telecom Business of TransTeleCom

On October 9, 2023, TransTeleCom Company JSC announced the appointment of Sergei Yakovlev to the post of Deputy General Director for Telecom Business. His area of ​ ​ responsibility includes the opening of new product areas and the improvement of existing processes for the provision of communication services, the general coordination of a set of measures to interact with the operator community and the development of the portfolio of telecommunications services of TransTeleCom.

The telecommunications business is one of the key areas of our activity.
