2022: Transition to Bas.Dynamix

On September 26, 2022, the Basis company announced that as part of the implementation of the government's order on import substitution and the transfer of domestic enterprises and organizations to software products of Russian developers in the GAU SO Center for Digital Healthcare Transformation, it was decided to replace the existing virtualization systems with Basid.Dynamix of the domestic developer.

The decision to switch to the given platform was made in early 2022. At that time, several different virtualization systems operated in the region - VMWare, Open Nebula, HostVM. State institutions already planned the transition to domestic software in accordance with the digitalization program of the public sector, however, due to the changed geopolitical situation, it was necessary to organize the transition as early as possible. Relying on the support of foreign vendors has become impossible, and for such an important industry as healthcare - this is critical. The performance requirements of the future solution were increased, and only the product from Basis met all the criteria.

explained Roman Kislov, First Deputy Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Sverdlovsk Region "Electronic Government Operator"

The movement continues towards the maximum replacement of foreign products with domestic analogues both in state departments and in state organizations, especially those who fall under the concept of critical infrastructure. The rules for purchasing foreign software and equipment are becoming more complicated. It was important for the customer that the solution being implemented was suitable not only for organizing the current work, but also for translating in the future all development processes for the healthcare system to its own full-fledged platform. Another important factor was speed and we managed to implement everything as quickly as possible - the migration was carried out with a minimum shutdown of no more than 10 minutes. The Mind software helped us in this.

stated Dmitry Sorokin, CTO of Basiz.Digital Energy

As of September 2022, GAU SO CTZ and Basis agreed to transfer all institutions of the regional health care system to Basiz.Dynamix is a software product for building an elastic industrial environment on its own hardware resources for cloud and classic applications. In the future, it is also planned to transfer the development of all software solutions for the health care system of the Sverdlovsk region to the Digital.Energy platform also developed by Basis.

A modern and effective health care system is a necessary condition for ensuring the well-being of the inhabitants of the region. Modern approaches to health management require not only a redistribution of the volume of medical care, but also a revision of the health infrastructure. One of the most effective ways to meet such requirements is to develop digital services.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region, at the end of 2021, the SO became one of the most advanced entities in terms of providing high-tech medical care (VMP) and providing digital services. The Center for Digital Transformation of Healthcare said that in 2022 they intend to continue work on ensuring communication and further integration of medical organizations in the region, the development of medical services (in particular, to scale the Electronic Prescription and Ambulance system), as well as launch various services. For these purposes, the government of the Sverdlovsk region allocated additional funds. Spending on the digitalization program increased by 125% compared to 2021. In 2022, the Sverdlovsk region took 4th place in terms of financing ICT projects of the federation subjects, although in 2021 it was only in 15th place.
