2022: Implementation of agro-industrial complex InfoDiode Smart

On October 18, 2022, AMT GROUP announced the completion of a project to introduce a product of the AMT InfoDiode line - agro-industrial complex InfoDiode SMART in ERG (Eurasian Group).

According to the company, the project was the first use of InfoDiode to protect the critical information infrastructure (CII) in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The implementation of this solution demonstrates the advanced approach of ERG, one of the largest energy holdings in Kazakhstan, to network segmentation and protection of the network perimeter.

AIC InfoDiode SMART is a means of protecting information, which is a hardware and software complex for unidirectional data transfer. The device was developed by AMT GROUP to solve the problems of guaranteed insulation of industrial segments of CII. A feature of InfoDiode Smart is the ability to transmit a significant number of different industrial protocols: OPC UA\DA, IEC-104, S7, Modbus, etc.

At ERG (Eurasian Group) enterprises, the InfoDiode SMART agro-industrial complex provides safe integration of SCADA systems located within the perimeter of the CII and external consumers of information outside the perimeter of the CII.

Thanks to the implementation of the InfoDiode SMART agro-industrial complex in ERG (Eurasian Group), the tasks of physical isolation of critical segments of the industrial network of one power unit of the enterprise and, in the near future, five more power units have been solved. At the same time, the ability to transfer data and telemetry for the purposes of analytics and planning by interested departments and ERG specialists and partners has been preserved. The amount of data transmitted through InfoDiode SMART allows you to collect and accumulate them in quantities sufficient for the implementation of projects on machine learning, anomaly search and long-term storage for predictive analytics.
