2022: Voice assistant takes readings of gas meters from residents of Yekaterinburg

MTT announced on November 2, 2022, the development of a digital assistant for Yekaterinburg. The voice robot, developed on the VoiceBox platform from MTT, accepts the readings of gas meters from residents of Yekaterinburg. The digital assistant processes more than 5,000 requests from customers of the resource supplying organization every month, automating the process of receiving readings and reducing the amount of manual labor.

Previously, residents of Yekaterinburg transmitted readings of gas meters through their personal account, website or call center operator, now a voice assistant has been added to these tools. It is enough to call the city phone, as a voice robot will instantly answer, greet the subscriber, find out the number of the personal account, check if the data is correctly recorded, after which it will alternately accept and record the readings of all gas metering devices installed in the household. Information is automatically entered into the company database, making it easier to create and upload reports.

Despite the fact that the digital assistant has been working for only 2 months, the share of readings received through it is already more than 40% and will still grow in the future, since the transmission of readings by "voice" is convenient for many categories, and population thanks to round-the-clock work voice assistant , it became possible to transmit information even at night. time Given the constant training robot of voice by the end of the year, the collection of readings through it can reach 80%.
