Within the framework of the electronic model of the Federal Waste Management Scheme (System) of the PPK, the Russian Environmental Operator (PPK REO) implements an innovative approach to work with planning and subsequent traceability of the processes of transportation, treatment and disposal of municipal solid waste. The high-tech project was implemented by TKO-Inform. The comprehensive solution uses deep data analysis, geoexpertization and machine learning modules.

The system allows you to optimize the economic and financial burden, as well as increase the environmental friendliness of all processes. The Russian analytical The company Marketing Logic , commissioned by TKO-Inform, has developed 4 high-tech modules for the project.

The project creates effective tools for reducing the negative impact of waste on human health and the environment, as well as increasing the completeness and reliability of data on the storage, processing and disposal of waste in the regions of the country. In addition, the level of control and transparency of all processes increases, the risks of violation of legislation in the field of waste management are minimized.

From the point of view logistics algorithms , dozens of parameters are taken into account that affect the construction of optimal routes within the network: unique identifiers all waste storage and processing facilities, their categories, type, functionality, location, as well as dynamic indicators, such as the mass of MSW and other types of waste taken over the period.

The project takes into account the environmental load, therefore, the system retains the characteristics of the capacity of waste storage, disposal and treatment facilities, the share of evaporating moisture, the share of secondary resources, as well as the share of MSW sent for composting, disposal and disposal.

Marketing Logic has developed 4 modules for the project by order of MSW-Inform:

• distance matrix - the main module developed for calculation, storage and visualization of all routes between waste generation sources and infrastructure facilities;
• two modules for calculation of traffic logistics are developed for mixed waste (MSW) and secondary resources. Modules solve transport problems and calculate optimal flow patterns, finding solutions with minimal distances and costs;
• the fourth module combines the logistic function and the register of waste accumulation sites. The solution helps to optimally monitor and inspect sites, minimize logistics costs and costs.

When creating the modules, the Marketing Logic team used solutions previously implemented in the Atlas geo-information system, the company's own development. GIS Atlas is included in the register of Russian software.

For the most stable and independent work, the solution uses data on the road network from the open international project OpenStreetMap. It is also possible to use data on road graphs of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
