2022: Adding Computing Resources to the Selectel Cloud

On November 21, 2022, Selectel announced the addition of computing resources to the CIT infrastructure of the Vologda Oblast in the Selectel cloud, where regional sites and software for working with documents from the Russian manufacturer MyOffice were deployed.

CIT ensures the uninterrupted functioning of the entire IT system of the region, the users of which are state authorities and individual budgetary institutions. Against the background of the suspension of supplies of equipment, components, software and technical support from foreign companies, as well as a wave of attacks on information resources for the successful operation of the organization, it was critical to use a sustainable and effective solution.

Cloud Selectel guarantees high safety data and the ability to quickly scale for the tasks of regional digitalization. The target reliability for cloud servers Selectel is 99.98%. This fault tolerance is provided by threefold replication of data in network storage, as well as the use virtualizations of fault-tolerant RAID masses on hosts, which allows you to count on a high level of its protection. Additionally, with the help of its own solution, Selectel provides continuous monitoring, which will help you quickly and timely register a possible one. The Information Technology Center Vologda Oblast needed to solve the problem of promptly increasing computing resources for the tasks of regional digitalization.
