At production in the Kirov region, the Russian Cheese company is introducing lean technologies. The company uses the experience of an existing enterprise in the Kuibyshev district. Effective methods were mastered thanks to the company's participation in the national project "Labor Productivity." This was announced by the Business Development Agency on November 21, 2022.

At the end of 2021, following the results of the main stage of the Russian Cheese national project, it reached the planned annual economic effect of 42 million rubles. Now it is planned to increase productivity by increasing the indicators by at least two times thanks to the launch of a new line in the Kirov region.

Thanks to the optimization of processes at the Kuibyshev facility at the raw milk collection site, seven operators cope with the work that nine people used to do. We also moved the flush console, reducing employee movements, and implemented a "5S" system to better organize the workspace. In addition, they began to maintain an information database. We have also implemented a warehouse management system that eliminates clutter. We continue to improve in other areas, - said Natalya Simakova, chief economist at Russian Cheese LLC.

Experts from the Regional Competence Center (RCC), which is the operator of the national project, helped employees to introduce lean technologies on a farm in the Kuibyshevsky district. The center operates on the basis of the Business Development Agency. At the facility in the Kirov region, "Russian Cheese" optimizes processes on its own.

According to Natalia, the company took into account the difficulties that arose at the first enterprise. They finalized them and applied them on the Kirov farm. Now more results are expected here than they have already achieved - an increase in production efficiency by at least 2 times.

In the Kirov region, as of November 2022, we already have 1780 cows, when at the beginning of the year there were only 400 of them. With lean manufacturing technologies, productivity has greatly increased. The volume of milk produced grows monthly. For example, in October we received almost 1,500 tons, which is 37.5% of the total. We supply products to the Bryansk region at the Brasov Cheeses plant, where they produce tasty and high-quality dairy products, "added Natalya Simakova.
