2022: Vizinform Visual Information System Update

The RIVTS-Pulkovo company announced on November 22, 2022 the completion of the update of the Vizinform software module, part of the integrated automation system of the COBRA airport. With the help of the module, the airport can quickly and easily convey the necessary information to each passenger on information screens. The Vizinform module is already used at 20 airports in Russia, as well as in the educational process of St. Petersburg University of Civil Aviation and the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation.

As a result of the latest changes, several significant functions were added: the ability to gradient illuminate the element (depending on the status of the flight), the ability to set smooth boundaries, add fonts, dictionaries of fixed translations, as well as a background snapshot of the city of destination of the flight.

In addition to updated features, the module allows you to create scoreboard templates using the multifunctional graphic form designer. It has flexible configuration of templates with reference to airlines, resources, classes of service and destinations. The Visinform subsystem supports the ability to display, advertizing content display information on any device and web, browser as well as the use of an unlimited number of languages ​ ​ for visual information.

Information is displayed on the airport board in automatic mode. The system itself selects graphic templates in accordance with the previously established rules. If necessary, airport employees can independently add any graphic elements, change fonts and colors.

The Vizinform module, being part of the integrated COBRA system, has flexible capabilities for customizing rules and graphic templates. Rule tuning mechanisms and scoreboard designers are transmitted to airport technologists, these are very simple tools that open up virtually limitless opportunities for airports to display visual content on the scoreboard. Thanks to the constant growth in the number of customers, the company receives ideas and tasks for subsequent implementation.
