All its history, the enterprise has changed, production has been modernized, and by the beginning of 2023, PZBM products meet European quality standards. The volume of production is also increasing. The company consistently holds its position in the industry and introduces technologies to strengthen and move on.

Warehouse logistics "PZBM" has also undergone changes, the enterprise has gone from low-efficiency work "on paper" and automated warehouse management to optimize business processes and increase throughput. AXELOT specialists were engaged in the implementation of the project for automating the warehouse of the notebook direction, the AXELOT WMS X5 system acted as a software solution.

As a result, WMS was launched at the PZBM warehouse complex in the Kaluga Region, with a total area of 2500 square meters. m and a range of 1200 active items. The goals of automation, firstly, were to avoid manual operations, and, secondly, to improve the accuracy of tracking the location of goods in stock.

Before the WMS was implemented in the warehouse, the personnel generated all documents on the internal, incoming, and outgoing goods flow to the CIS, then the employees performing the tasks were checked with these documents. For example, the storekeeper manually recalculated the inventory of all moved pallets and correlated the received data with the existing document "Transfer of Goods." If necessary, the document was recalculated and corrected.

Planning the placement of goods according to ABC classification, compliance with the FIFO principle in time the selection, press labels, determination of the order of loading transport into the tool - all this was monitored and carried out manually. The search for free cells in the warehouse was carried out visually: after inspection, the storekeeper compiled a list and handed it over to the driver, and loader he, in turn, placed the goods. The implementation of AXELOT WMS X5 allowed you to automate all warehouse transactions, now they are planned and monitored in the system. WMS issues tasks to personnel and records their execution using data collection terminals. Before starting the operation, employees are authorized in the system by entering a login and password, or by scanning the badge, so that the management has accurate information about the development of each specific employee.

Due to the peculiarities of the turnover, AXELOT specialists set up a dependent placement algorithm during the project. If for orders for shipment there is an unsecured need for goods (in the sampling area there is not enough goods), then the placement of the full storage place is planned to the sampling area on the cargo rack of the first tier. If all the demand for the goods is met for the shipment orders, the placement is planned in the storage area. This solution made it possible to automate the process of replenishing the tier from which the selection is made, thus, collectors do not need to lower the goods from the second tier, since the system controls the required amount of it on the first. There is no need for manual reconciliation with documents in the CIS and recalculation of goods with subsequent adjustment, the relevance of stock balance data is maintained online thanks to the integration of WMS with CIS. Tasks are generated automatically in WMS based on information received from CIS. Integration is configured through the DATAREON MQ message queuing service. Exchange handlers were developed by AXELOT employees only from the WMS side, from the CIS side the development was carried out by the customer. AXELOT WMS X5 automatically schedules all warehouse tasks strictly according to the configured principles and strategies. This made it possible to optimize business processes, increase storage density and eliminate the impact of the human factor. Management of warehouse logistics in the notebook direction of the Linen-Factory Paper Manufactory now does not lag behind high-tech production, allowing the enterprise to grow, develop and provide products with even more customers.
