2023: Construction begins
In January 2023, the St. Petersburg government entered into an agreement with the Modern Perinatal Technologies company on a project to build a perinatal center on Vavilovs Street in the Kalininsky district of the city. It is noted that the center will provide, among other things, assistance in the difficult course of pregnancy, in the presence of risks of premature birth, as well as women with impaired reproductive function.
The medical facility will employ 680 people each shift. It is planned that the provision of medical services in the center will be carried out under the compulsory health insurance system (compulsory medical insurance).
