For increase in efficiency of control and accounting of the medical equipment by the customer the decision on creation of a specialized system was made. With its help it was going to achieve bigger relevance and accuracy of the data about existence and a status of medical equipment, to automate planning processes and carrying out scheduled and unplanned works on maintenance and repair of the operated equipment. A system had to provide cutting of costs for service of the operated equipment, including due to optimization of stocks of the spare parts and supplies stored in a warehouse and in general to optimize process of centralized accounting of medical equipment and equipment.
Besides, until recently document flow in medical institution remained almost completely "paper" that, in turn, also introduced additional difficulties in work of employees and tightened terms of acceptance of management decisions.
About the Project
The IT company offered the customer the system of own development which allows to automate accounting, storage, the search and information analysis on existence and a status of medical equipment and equipment which are in operation in different divisions of clinic. A system allows to provide control of timely accomplishment of warranty, planned, unplanned repair work on hardware maintenance in general and separate nodes, including on replacement of nodes, spare parts, supplies, and their upgrade.
To result
The IT company provided two IT projects in clinic of JSC Gazprom. In medical institution the automation system of accounting and maintenance of the medical equipment and an electronic document management system are put into operation. Today systems are successfully used by the staff of clinic who notes significant quality improvement of service of the medical equipment, acceleration of accomplishment of relevant tasks and reduction of terms of work with documents.
