Software Selection
In 2002 the department of an ACS of federal state unitary enterprise Central Research Institute KM Prometey performed the choice of the software for control automation by personnel of the enterprise. The systems of such developers as Parus, Galaktika, "COMPASS", 1C, IT participated in consideration. The main selection terms were existence of the solution for the MS SQL Server 2000, preliminary selected from quality of corporate DBMS, and openness of a system. Special attention was paid to a subsystem "Payroll" which had to support calculation for all methods applied in central research institute, providing at the same time a full support of the existing legislation. Best of all a system "the COMPASS met the listed criteria: Personnel management" which was selected for implementation from federal state unitary enterprise Central Research Institute KM Prometey.

General Description of the Project
System implementation "COMPASS: Personnel management" took place during 2003. In January, 2004 entered software commercial operation.
As a result of project implementation the solution of such tasks as is completely automated:
- registration of personnel;
- payroll;
- unloading of data in PF and IFTS in electronic form;
- salary transfer on cash cards.
Some Specific Features of the Project
- In implementation process of the project converting of data from the formats used in software of the previous generation, and their import to a DB of the COMPASS system was performed.
- The considerable number of additional statistic reports on registration of personnel and salary accrual is developed.
- Salary payment is made by automatic transfer to cash cards of employees.
