MTS video surveillance will increase the level of security in Balashikha

2023: Installation of access CCTV cameras begins

PJSC MTS"" on January 18, 2023 announced that it had begun installing access cameras in the video surveillances urban district. Balashikha Most of the high-rise apartment buildings of the urban district will be connected to the video surveillance system in the spring of 2023, which will improve the safety and comfort of residents.

The program covers almost a thousand houses with a height of five floors in various microdistricts of Balashikha, at the entrances of which MTS will install 3100 video cameras by March. The cameras will monitor security around the clock, recording and transmitting images to the Data Storage and Processing Center of the Moscow Region. Videos will be stored in the archive for 30 days and in the event of an emergency will allow law enforcement agencies to quickly identify offenders.

The safety of residents of the region is one of the most important areas of activity of the city administration. According to various sources, thanks to video surveillance systems, it is possible to reduce the crime rate by 30%. We continue to equip our urban district with video surveillance cameras to further reduce the number of illegal cases, - commented the head of the urban district of Balashikha Sergey Yurov.
