2023: Announcement of a comprehensive solution for modeling and documenting FlexIPAM communication networks

On January 18, 2023, ADV Consulting presented its development - a solution for modeling and documenting FlexIPAM communication networks, which is part of the Russian software register.

FlexIPAM is designed specifically for network engineers and operators, and provides a set of design infrastructures and documentation tools that cover all aspects of network technologies from managing - IP addresses to filling telecommunication racks, mapping channels, and more.

FlexIPAM has wide functionality and capabilities for accounting and monitoring, such as: accounting for IP networks , IPv4/IPv6 addresses, including the ability to control the non-intersection of the IP address space; support for a multifilial structure, authenticationsauthorizations support/users using external systems (, and Microsoft AD LDAP RADIUS), automatic scanning subnets and IP addresses, and others.

FlexIPAM functionality covers the entire process of managing IP subnet data from an automatic request from the RIPE database, followed by autocomplete of the required fields, binding the IP subnet to L2 domains, VLANs, VRFs, BGP-ASs, hardware, before accounting for static PAT\NAT translations, physical and logical links.

FlexIPAM allows you to keep records of telecommunication racks with the ability to fill equipment, divide it into types, network screens, zones and bind IP subnets to network screen equipment.

With FlexIPAM, equipment can be linked to a branch office, organization, service provider, with support for mapping links, physical links, and virtual links. FlexIPAM uses the Russian Postgres Pro database and is registered in the register of Russian software No. 15835 dated 09.12.2022.

The solution can be installed on the server using any current operating system of the Linux family, as well as in the form of a virtual machine running the Russian operating system of the Astra Linux family.
