2017:40% increase in channel sales

  • Powercom channel sales up 40%
  • all Moscow POWERCOM sales accounted for only 48% (compared to 54% a year earlier). Moreover, the growth of regional sales did not occur at the expense of any one region or district. Several districts have grown quite noticeably at once, for example, Ural, Far Eastern, Volga, Central, Northern (located in terms of growth dynamics in units) - not only increased their share, but reached an absolute maximum over the past three years.
  • growth is shown by online uninterruptible power supplies and this growth is observed in both monetary and piece equivalent. According to POWERCOM experts, this trend is largely caused by the expansion of the industry application of UPS - as a result of the development of the process of automation and robotization of various spheres of the economy, business and human life. Thus, in the POWERCOM portfolio, the online UPS segment grew by 13.5% compared to last year. The second growing segment was offline UPS. The dynamics of growth in dollars is quite noticeable (17%) and is most likely caused by a shift in consumer demand towards the cheapest models, as well as the emergence of a need for more compact devices. In a number of POWERCOM deliveries, it was the physical dimensions of the equipment that were one of the significant criteria for choosing UPS.

The development of solar power, as well as the development of the entire renewable energy industry (RES), has not yet had rapid growth in Russia and was not included in the strategic plans of the state. A regulatory framework is being developed to support renewable energy sources intended for private consumers. According to the most optimistic forecasts, state regulation will lead to the development of the industry and by 2020 the share of renewable energy may reach 2-3% in total. The share of solar power facilities will be, respectively, less. Read more: Solar power in Russia.
