On January 31, 2023, Naumen announced the replenishment of the product portfolio with the Naumen Speech AI automatic speech synthesis and recognition system. The technology allows you to recognize and convert Russian-language speech into text, as well as voice words with ready-made female and male voices or unique ones created on the basis of your own announcer recordings.

According to the company, the speech recognition technology (Automatic Speech Recognition) in the Naumen Speech AI product allows you to work in stream and offline mode, as well as resistant to background noise. The solution demonstrates the accuracy of recognition without additional additional training on the customer's data, regardless of the specifics of the vocabulary, since the model is trained on tens of thousands of hours of audio recordings from various areas of the business.

The Text synthesis to Speech technology in the Naumen solution allows you to reproduce speech close to human sound based on Russian-language text. Six different voices are available in the product library, in addition, you can create a unique voice brand based on your own announcer records ranging from 15 minutes to 5 hours. Support for SSML markup allows you to flexibly adjust the speed of voice acting, intonation and pause in synthesized speech.

Introduced in the Bank of ДОМ.РФ, which is one of the top 15 largest banks in Russia, Naumen's voice assistant uses Naumen Speech AI to recognize what the client said in a split second. In terms of response speed and dialogue skills, the assistant was brought closer to a living person: less than 0.6% of callers understand what the robot, not the operator, is talking to them.
