2023: Development of a strategy for the transition to domestic software

The Delo group of companies, with the expert support of Greenatom Simple Solutions JSC, has developed a strategy and plan for the transition to domestic software. The company Greenatom announced this on February 7, 2023.

The decision to switch to domestic products was made by the management of the Delo group of companies to ensure stable operation of software and IT systems. The perimeter of the project includes the Delo Management Company and subholdings - TransContainer, Global Ports, DeloPorts, Ruskon.

For each company, the specialists of Greenatom Simple Solutions JSC have developed an import substitution strategy and a plan for switching to alternative software, taking into account the existing IT infrastructure and equipment. To do this, 5,500 automated workplaces were examined using the Atom.Port configuration management system (own development of Greenatom JSC, included in the register of domestic software) and through questionnaires and surveys of the group's IT specialists.

Based on the results of the analysis, analytical notes were formed with a description of the current IT infrastructure and the definition of a list of software to be replaced, with variants of analogues. At the end of the survey stage, the experts of Greenatom Simple Solutions carried out work on the design and planning of the transition to the target import-independent IT infrastructure. At the same time, an assessment was made of the readiness of the IT infrastructure of the group companies to switch to other software, as well as an assessment of the resources necessary for this.
