The government of the Nizhny Novgorod region involved Medsi in the construction of a medical hub in the region. The company announced the conclusion of the relevant concession agreement on February 8, 2023.
Under the terms of the agreement, an ultra-modern hospital for 336 beds, a clinical and diagnostic center with a department of radiation diagnostics and industrial medicine, an ambulance station and a maternity hospital will be built in Vyksa. The volume of investments of the concessionaire (Medsi) will amount to more than 3.5 billion rubles, and the full amount of financing for the project will amount to 5.3 billion rubles.

The complex at a high level will serve 165 thousand adults and children of the Vyksa urban district, Navashinsky, Voznesensky and Kulebak districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Medical services will be provided to people of all ages in 29 areas.
The construction of the center in Vyksa is planned to begin in 2024, the launch is planned in 2026. Its creation will radically improve the quality of medical care, make it more accessible to residents of Vyksa and neighboring areas. Free of charge, under the state compulsory health insurance program (compulsory medical insurance), the new center will serve all residents of the Vyksa city district. Residents of neighboring areas will also be able to be treated in the center's hospital and receive high-tech care under the compulsory medical insurance program.
The medical complex in Vyksa will be the first and so far the only project in the field of PPP in Russian healthcare, where a private partner will carry out all technical and all targeted operation, that is, it will provide all types of medical care: from outpatient admission and diagnostics to high-tech care within the framework of a round-the-clock hospital, - said Elena Brusilova, President of Medsi Group of Companies.[1] |
