2023: Implementation of the Smart City platform in Tula

RuSat Infrastructure Solutions JSC (RIR, part of Rosatom State Corporation) and the Tula administration are deploying digital services for the Smart City platform. RIR announced this on February 21, 2023.

The project is aimed at creating a comfortable and safe digital environment for citizens and automating the city's resource and service management system. This is the first city to take advantage of the opportunity and connect to Rosatom's smart cities from the cloud, test the platform's capabilities and plan to expand services.

RIR is introducing an integrated digital platform for the smart city management center "Smart City of Tula." The project is being implemented within the framework of the concluded municipal contract between the administration and Digital Platforms and Smart City Solutions JSC (part of the RIR management loop). In accordance with it, the company will introduce modules that will improve the quality of urban management and the speed of response to emergency situations, create additional opportunities for the development of dialogue between residents, business and government.

The rapid growth of IT is changing the idea of ​ ​ an ideal city. Tula does not just keep his finger on the pulse, but uses all opportunities to build an integrated urban environment, "said Sergey Kuchin, director of work with the regions of the RIR.

The functionality of the system affects various areas of the city's life, allows residents to report city problems, receive information about the work of city services, social institutions. the administration will see the appeals of residents, quickly find out the statistics. For example, through feedback services, citizens will be able to take part in the development of the city and speed up the solution of urban problems.

The service modules of Smart City will allow you to receive online information about excavation work, service areas of management companies, data from GIS housing and communal services. The closed part is intended for official use by authorized employees in accordance with the areas of responsibility. In addition, within the framework of the project, an information panel of the head of the city will be created, which in real time reflects the main information about the work of city services, the main problems and the events being held.

The "Institutions" module is of a reference nature. The Earthmoving module will save time for obtaining appropriate permits at times. The interactive map presents all valid issued orders, you can find out the timing of the work and those responsible for it, make sure that they are legal or complain about "illegal excavations."
