The Moscow Scientific and Production Enterprise (NPP) "Doza" has signed a contract for the production and supply of automated radiation monitoring systems (RBM) "Phoenix" for four Russian modernized nuclear floating power units (MPEB). The customer is JSC Concern NPO Aurora - the Russian enterprise in the field of automation of the control of ships and vessels[1] This was announced on March 10, 2023 by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The RBM includes radiometers and dosimeters, radiation detection units, as well as an information processing and transmission unit.

Phoenix is an automated radiation monitoring system developed by NPP Doza to monitor the radiation parameters of nuclear icebreakers, ships and floating structures. Refers to the fifth generation of radiation monitoring systems. Thanks to engineering solutions, a high degree of standardization and the use of information technologies, a special combination of reliability and ease of use has been achieved in the system, "said Alexey Nurlybaev, General Director of NPP Doza.

Previously, the system was installed on four Russian nuclear icebreakers and a vessel for transporting liquid radioactive waste. In 2022, the company entered into contracts for the supply of these systems for three more nuclear icebreakers.

The placement of industrial sites in Moscow gives investors access to large sales markets, developed infrastructure, as well as a large pool of system support for the city. For example, as of March 2023, industrial enterprises can take advantage of more than 20 measures - including subsidies, targeted loans. In addition, a number of anti-crisis tools have been developed.
