2022: Automation of the process of technical connection of consumers to power grids in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region

Edith Pro announced on March 20, 2023 that it had completed a project to automate business processes in the direction of "Technological connection of consumers to networks" of Rosseti Lenenergo on the 1C platform.

One of the main activities of the company is the technological connection of energy receiving devices (power plants) of legal entities and individuals to electric networks.

So, in 2022, Rosseti Lenenergo connected more than 40 thousand objects on the territory of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region with a total capacity of 1.1 GW to the company's electric networks.

Improving the processes of technological connection to networks is a priority issue for Rosseti Lenenergo. The goal is to make this process understandable and transparent for consumers, to reduce the processing time of documents. To do this, within the framework of the automation project, Edit Pro implemented a target System for technological connection to ensure a business process within a network company. The System provides an architecture that allows you to quickly make changes to already commissioned modules, as well as develop and implement others. In the context of dynamically changing legislation, the flexibility and adaptability of the System is one of the conditions.

In March 2023, the business process of technological connection at Rosseti Lenenergo was automated from the moment the application was received until the contract for technological connection was closed. At the same time, the implemented functionality, among other things, allows you to automatically form printed forms of contracts and technical conditions for them, calculate the cost of technological connection, and automatically send notifications to the applicant from the System on various events. You have created a reporting module with flexible reporting tools with any data sections.

When implementing the System, integration is ensured both with external services available to customers (such as the ТП.РФ Portal and personal account on the Rosseti Lenenergo website) and with internal information systems for interaction with other units of the network company.

The implementation of the System and its commissioning made it possible to ensure the controllability of the process of technological connection, as well as reduce the time for processing applications and concluding contracts.

The project set many non-standard tasks that the company, using the experience of Edith Pro in automating enterprises in the energy sector, were able to solve. So, an important stage was the migration of data from the historical database. Creating a dynamic system with many different profile processes also required the developed competencies. During the project, the development of a mobile application for company employees was carried out, tasks were set for its development, noted Dmitry Kichko, CEO of Edith Pro (Borlas Group).
