2023: Launch of a production line with a capacity of more than a million products per year

The resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Technopolice Moscow" company "Hematech" (part of the structure of the Gemamed Group of Companies) has launched a production line for the production of medical devices for patients with stoma as part of the implementation of the second stage of the offset contract concluded with the city. This was announced on March 19, 2023 by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.

Under the terms of the offset signed with Moscow in 2019, Gemamed has invested over a billion rubles in the creation of an enterprise for the manufacture of medical devices for stomed patients. A production line with a capacity of two million units per year was launched. In March 2023, the company entered the second stage of the contract. Within the framework of it, a new production line was launched with a capacity of more than a million products per year. It is planned that in March 2023 these products will go to medical institutions in Moscow, - said Vladimir Efimov.

In the laboratory of the enterprise, finished products are thoroughly tested and tested. Each batch of any product is subject to multiple quality control throughout the production cycle.

Thanks to the launch of this line, 16 types of products are produced at the enterprise. It is expected that in 2023 production will reach its design capacity and the company will be able to produce 5.5 million units of products per year. This will fully provide the capital's health care system with domestic medical products for stomed patients, "added Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the city of Moscow.

As Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ, noted, the high-tech production process, which is provided on the territory of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ, continuous quality control of raw materials, materials and finished products make it possible to ensure high quality, reliability and safety of manufactured products.

Alexey Drondel, head of the production service of Hematech, also added that preparations are underway for the launch of another production line for March 2023. The introduction of additional capacities will allow the company to produce prefabricated products where the plate is attached to the ostom bag using a detachable connection. Such designs provide greater patient comfort.

Gemamed began supplying products for the needs of the city under the offset contract in 2022. Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that since that moment, the capital's medical institutions have received almost two million medical devices from the manufacturer.
