The "Version for the visually impaired" button appeared on the main screen. The app is available for download on Google Play and the App Store. According to the developers, this format will be useful to any user who is more convenient to view information in the form of text.

We are constantly working to improve the quality of public transport in our city. We are trying to keep up with the times - we are not only updating the rolling stock, but also introducing digital solutions. Now, in the Kursk Transport application, passengers can choose the type of transport, view routes and schedules in text - for convenience, they used a large font and increased contrast, - said Alexander Vasilchenko, Deputy Minister of Transport and Roads of the Kursk Region.

Kursk became the first city in which we adapted the transport mobile application for visually impaired users. Requests for the version for the visually impaired also came from other regions where our services operate. This method of providing information is convenient for any passenger, but first of all it is designed for people with poor vision, - commented Maxim Isaev, Deputy General Director of Datapax.

Datapax intends to further improve the quality of digital services for passengers and over time scale mobile payment for all public transport in Kursk. According to the developers, with mass use, this method of payment will reduce the time of boarding public transport by 30%.

In general, as of the end of March 2023, the version for the visually impaired is already available in mobile applications: Arkhangelsk Oblast Transport, Yekaterinburg Transport, Kazan Transport, Krasnoyarsk Transport, Kursk Transport, Nizhnekamsk Transport, Smolensk Oblast Transport and Udmurtia Transport.

The development company Datapax continues to receive requests for a version for the visually impaired from various regions where its IT solutions for public transport are presented. Users can leave their questions and wishes in the "Support" section.

As of March 2023, Datapax has launched mobile applications for passengers in 22 regions of the country. Using the application, you can plan a trip taking into account transfers, track the movement of all types of transport on the map, find out the predicted arrival time at the stop and pay for travel. About 230 thousand people use mobile transport applications every day.
