Russia summed up the results of the federal operational rating of those responsible for the digital transformation of the heads of the highest executive bodies of the constituent entities (RCT) for 2024. This is a key indicator of the effectiveness of work on the introduction of digital technologies in the economy and social sphere at the regional level. It takes into account several indicators at once, for example, the "digital maturity" of executive authorities and local governments, the indicator of digitalization of services on the Unified Portal of Public Services (EPGU) and the level of satisfaction of citizens with the quality of providing mass socially significant services. This was announced on February 19, 2025 by the press service of Anton Nemkin, a member of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications.
The value of the indicator of the Kursk region at the end of 2024 was 77.8%. In the overall RCT rating, the region entered the leading group, rising 16 positions relative to the beginning of the year - to 23rd line.
The key parameter in the RCT rating is the level of digital maturity. The Kursk region exceeded the planned value of digital maturity and took 18th place among the regions of the Russian Federation with a result of 92.5%, - said the Acting Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Kurskaya Region Oksana Krutko. |
When calculating the level of digital maturity, the pace of introduction of information technologies in education, health care, the public transport sector, public administration, as well as in urban economy and construction are taken into account.
The situation faced by the Kursk region made it possible to bring electronic services to a new level as quickly as possible and improve their quality. Separately, we noted the regular collection of feedback and surveys to improve existing services. I am sure that such a system will help to increase the existing rating indicators in the future, "he stressed. |
The Kursk region has successfully coped with the implementation of the measures provided for by the national project "Digital Economy," which ended in 2024, says Anton Nemkin.
In the period 2019-2024. a lot of work has been done in several areas of the regional economy at once. Firstly, over 170 sparsely populated points were provided with access to. Internet The digitalization of public administration also continued - 100% of mass socially significant services were transferred to electronic form. In addition, all social significant objects were connected to the Internet. Successfully implemented projects and IT-. to import substitution In February 2025, almost 40% of executive authorities were transferred to domestic operating systems, the deputy said. |
I am sure that the region will successfully cope with the implementation of the measures provided for by the new national project "Data Economics," the deputy emphasized. |

History
2024
Liberation of 40% of the territories occupied by Ukraine
The Russian command by the end of August 2024 transferred additional units from other sections of the front. Thanks to reinforcements, it was possible to contain the onslaught of the group of troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the enemy troops suffered serious losses, especially in terms of multiple launch rocket systems, BMUs and air defense systems.
The Ukrainian army managed to stop along the line Krasnooktyabrskoye - Kremyanoye - Kromskie Bulls - Bolshoi Soldatskoye. By early September, the situation was stabilized, after which the systematic extrusion of the enemy from the occupied settlements began.
In the last decade of September, Ukrainian formations made another desperate attempt to gain a foothold in a new section in the Kursk region - this time in the Glushkovsky district. Having thrown its best assault units into battle, armed mainly with NATO armored vehicles, the Armed Forces of Ukraine failed to develop operational success and by the beginning of October the enemy had retreated to its original positions in the Sumy region in this section, where it underwent a series of massive missile attacks throughout October.
After a short respite, Russian troops launched a counterattack in mid-October, conducting an offensive in several stages. By the end of 2024, it was possible to de-occupy about 40-50% of the Kursk lands previously captured by the enemy: the Armed Forces of Ukraine control no more than 600 square kilometers of territories.
The battles are getting closer and closer to Sudzha, the only large settlement held by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region. The offensive in the Sudzhansky district comes from two flanks: on the western line Lyubimovka - Nizhny Klin - Sverdlikovo and at the line Kurilovka - Makhnovka - Russian Konopelka on the eastern.
Invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border areas of the region and the use of chemical weapons
In August 2024, during the conflict, the Armed Forces of Ukraine occupied several border settlements in the Kursk region, including the city of Suj.
In October 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used chlorine in the Kursk region.
In the frame - an unexploded submunition (canister, there are 4 of them in the DM 105 artillery shell) DM1216 from a German smoke 155 mm shell. Inside is chlorine. Although the shell was originally designed to create a smoke screen. The manufacturer is Rheinmetall.
The same worked ammunition sent several fighters of the Russian Armed Forces to the hospital with chlorine poisoning.
Each smoke tank is marked 'NBK DM 1216' - "NBK" stands for German Nebelkörper ("smoke element").
But the Armed Forces of Ukraine filled these sub-ships with a chemical poisonous substance. Although, the Germans could also do this in their factories. They have experience with gas.
Earlier, the arrival of RCBZ units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region was reported from the field. The use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of this type of ammunition for the delivery of toxic substances was predicted by Russian intelligence. The team of the channel "Archangel Special Forces" indicated this type of submunition in the methodological recommendations for countering enemy chemical weapons.
