2023: Appointment of Acting General Director Roskino

On March 22, 2023, the Ministry of Culture announced the change of the head of Roskino. It was Ekaterina Naumova instead of Inna Shalyto, who headed the state organization representing the Russian audiovisual content industry in international markets, since April 2022.

The Ministry of Culture said that Roskino, under the leadership of Shalyto, reoriented international activities to promote Russian content to new markets, the Asia Middle East, North Africa and the CIS, the ministry said. Ekaterina Naumova became the new leader of Roskino

The department noted that a total of 25 events were held under the RFF brand. Educational initiatives were also developed - Roskino, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, launched the Roskino Academy educational brand and implemented a seminar program for Russian filmmakers aimed at studying the specifics of new markets, with the involvement of international experts.

Before heading Roskino, Ekaterina Naumova worked in the company as first deputy general director. Her biography was not found in open sources by March 23, 2023. Roskino clarified that Naumova became the acting general director.

The reason for the change of the general director of Roskino was not disclosed. The organization only told RIA Novosti that Inna Shalyto left the post of general director for personal reasons.[1]
