2024-2025: Sales of drugs for the treatment of erection disorders reached ₽9 billion in a year

The volume of sales of drugs for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in Russia in 2024 reached ₽9 billion, while 14.3 million packages of such funds were sold in physical terms. According to data published in June 2025, the market is showing steady positive dynamics: in January-May 2025, sales amounted to ₽3,9 billion, which is 12.3% higher than in the same period in 2024.

According to RNC Pharma, in the first five months of 2025, Russians bought over 6 million packages of G04E group drugs, which means an increase in natural consumption by 8.7% compared to January-May 2024. The average cost of one package of a drug was ₽643, which is 18% lower than three years ago.

The rating of the 10 most popular drugs for the treatment of erection disorders by volume of cash sales in January-May 2025 includes:

In contrast, in "sprayers," the increase is insignificant - less than 31%.

It turned out that approximately 24% of men are "gardeners" and about 25% are "sprayers." The rest fall into the so-called "gray" zone, that is, they are between the two designated categories.

It is important to be able to predict whether patients are "gardeners" or "sprayers" as when we see their penises they are usually sluggish. If the penis greatly increases in size during an erection, it could mean that the patient needs different surgery, said Manuel Alonso-Isa.

The researchers found no correlation between the size of the excited penis and age, weight, bad habits (such as smoking) and other factors. But the 'sprayers' were found to have a slightly longer penis when calm than the 'gardeners' - an average of 11.3cm versus^[2]
