2023: Technology Announcement for Smart Capacity Monitoring

On April 24, 2023, the E-Cabinet plant introduced technology for smart monitoring of production capacities, due to which the enterprise can optimize electricity consumption, save resources and even identify employee negligence.

As reported, the technology is a complex consisting of hardware (collection modules data embedded in electrical cabinets) and software servers on which the received ones are aggregated. data Due to the "smart filling" they collect about the data energy costs of each workshop, individual units and consumers, "highlights" them pre-emergency conditions or idle operating time.

The module and sensors of their own design make any electric cabinet smart, that is, capable of collecting data from power lines of specific equipment or an entire workshop: overload, idle or downtime, sparks (possible failures), start time and shutdown time. Based on this data, it analyzes the effectiveness of production processes both in the enterprise as a whole and in its individual workplaces. In a critical situation, alarms are sent, if necessary, the workshop is forcibly de-energized in order to prevent an accident. From month to month, a smart electric cabinet compares the resulting indicators. The system can be integrated with the maintenance and repair functions of enterprises and help to come to the concept of "repair and maintenance as needed." For example, it makes no sense to carry out routine maintenance for an electric motor if its operating time was only 20-30% of the required service period. But if there is an abnormal consumption, increased body temperature or vibration, diagnostics, maintenance or repair must be carried out in advance.

A couple more features. The technology interface is open for integration with any SCADA systems and industrial platforms. Also, the module can integrate with 1C bases. The production of a certain shift and a specific machine/specialist are tied to these parameters, the cost of a batch of manufactured products is calculated. It is possible to calculate the normative correlation between the amount of output and how much equipment worked. One of the first to test this technology was the Ural crushing and sorting complex. This led to unexpected results for the owners of the enterprise.

We have already begun to identify moments where a certain number of tons of granite crumbs passed by the scales, so to speak, past the cash register. During the shift, the equipment worked with a normal load, but 2-3% less production was produced than usual. It makes sense to figure out why this is happening. The system "highlights" where money can be lost and whether the fact of theft took place.

told Pavel Cheremisin, director of the plant "E-CABINET"

According to the head of E-CABINET, additional installation of equipment leads to a slight increase in the cost of a standard electrical board. The payback period for such "smart" equipment, as a rule, does not exceed a year. However, the module can also be built into existing equipment, without the need to turn it off. This technology, developed in the Siberian city, corresponds to the concept of Industry 4.0, introduced in many developed countries, and is aimed at optimizing the efficiency of production.
