2023: Equipping Stage Equipment with Otkritie Group IT

On March 6, 2023, the completely renovated main hall of the Center for Rehabilitation and Education in the village of Bykovo (Moscow Region) was opened. The installed stage equipment opens up creative multimedia opportunities: now you can conduct performances here at the technological level. IT GROUP OTKRITIE helped in equipping IT. The official opening of the CRO is scheduled for autumn 2023. This was announced on March 24, 2023 by the IT OPENING GROUP.

The company's specialists faced the task of completely transforming the main premises of the Center for Rehabilitation and Education - a performance hall. From the room, in terms of equipment and technology related to the very beginning of the 21st century (the building itself was built in 1969), it was necessary to create a multi-format hall for the viewer. This task imposed special requirements for both technical equipment and its design. The building underwent a comprehensive reconstruction, so that even at the stage of construction, IT OTKRITIE GROUP engineers provided for the nuances of placing light and sound equipment, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and it was also planned to build premises for managing the equipment of the hall.

The timing of the project was quite compressed. The task arrived in June 2022. In early December 2022, the company has already begun work at the facility. In this period, preparatory work was underway on the selection of equipment, the preparation and coordination of design estimates. Also in the fall of 2022, dismantling work was carried out to prepare the site. The entire process of equipment installation took 2.5 months, and on March 6, 2023, the facility was completely commissioned,
told Vladimir Rozin, Director General of IT OTKRITIE GROUP.

The "heart" of the updated hall is a large LED multimedia screen. The scale here is impressive - about 8 meters long. However, this is not all - the main screen is complemented by two one and a half meter LED-wings.

They give the effect of immersion and volume in the broadcast content. Including thanks to the addition of the main screen in the wings, as a result, the viewer receives a full-format, clear and multifaceted high-resolution picture. Wings are essentially two large vertical additional screens at the edges that work in tandem with the main,
added Vladimir Rozin.

Particular attention was paid to the acoustic solution: the sound had to be made also three-dimensional and as dense as possible.

At the design stage, low-frequency subwoofers were arranged directly in the scene, in the center. This made it possible to free up stage space and concentrate all the low frequencies in one place, which gives a denser and more collected sound. In addition to subwoofers, active acoustics are installed, as well as 4 stage monitors, which allows performers on stage to fully hear themselves. Taken together, these decisions produced a professional sound,
narrated by Alik Sasin, project manager.

The hardware base of the project has been supplemented with a light solution - a set of controlled spotlights has been installed, the task of which is not only to highlight the stage, but also to contribute to the dynamics of any performance.

An element of such systems is a hardware room (control center). It combined the management of all equipment from one workplace. Everything is connected to each other via a WiFi network, and you can control the stage light either using a special control panel or a touch laptop (this is how you can control the light online, directly from the audience). The same applies to the sound and lighting of the room: you can control all multimedia equipment from anywhere in the room.

The customer was pleased with the result and was surprised by the capabilities of multimedia technologies. But the main thing for the company is the impressions of children who, with the updated hall, received an incentive for development and creativity,
supplemented by Vladimir Rozin.
