2023: Planning the launch of a service for monitoring the state of health of citizens

In 2023, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Orenburg Region, together with the Ministry of Health of the Orenburg Region, as part of the implementation of the Smart City departmental project, through a virtual assistant of the Orenburg Region, it is planned to launch a service for monitoring the health of citizens (with the help of a virtual assistant of the Orenburg Region, citizens will be called to monitor the state of health in terms of cardiovascular diseases). This was announced on May 4, 2023 by representatives of the Project Directorate of the Ministry of Construction of Russia.

As reported, the Orenburg region is one of the constituent entities of Russia that submitted the largest number of applications for participation in the National Prize for their contribution to the development of digitalization of the Smart City urban economy, the results of which were announced in April 2023 in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The projects of the region were awarded in four nominations: 2 projects became prize-winners in the nominations "Healthcare" and "Education," taking second place, another 2 projects took fourth places in the nominations "Interregional Cooperation" and "Active Region. The virtual assistant is a system that allows citizens to communicate with trained artificial intelligence in a natural language and receive answers to questions related to health care and receiving services in multifunctional centers of the region. The virtual assistant communicates in the language familiar to a person and can conduct a dialogue on a par with the operator. The project was implemented by LLC "Association of Cognitive Associative Systems."

The introduction of artificial intelligence in healthcare is becoming a reality for residents of the Orenburg region. From December 1, 2022, the virtual assistant "Medical Assistant - 56 Tatiana" was launched on the websites of medical organizations. Citizens can quickly receive important information about the location of medical institutions, the working hours, as well as the appointment of doctors, excluding personal appeal to the registry. Patients do not need to remember the correct name of the clinic in order to find it in the list, the system itself will understand and offer the correct name for choice.
