Sber Tech, a subsidiary of Sberbank, announced on May 10, 2023 the release of the high-performance web and proxy server Platform V SynGX. With it, you can efficiently and securely process user requests to web resources - sites and applications on the Internet - to ensure fast page loading and fast service response times.

With Platform V SynGX, the following tasks are solved:

• receiving and processing requests over the network, modifying and routing them to other services, distributing them between several instances of the same service;
• provision of static content (images, js-, css-, - and htmlfiles others) for sites and portals;
• caching of static or infrequently changing responses from other computing nodes for issuance in case of repeated requests;
• providing security when using services and limiting unwanted requests.

The product is included in the Unified Register of Russian computer and database programs and meets high corporate standards in the field of security, performance, reliability and ease of use.

Platform V SynGX is based on the open-source version of Nginx 1.22 and is complemented by a number of important functions:

• advanced Platform V SynGX health metrics, including Prometheus format, connected by multiple directives in the configuration;
• Active health check of nodes in the balancing group for the protocol HTTP
• the ability to use Lua and JavaScript programming languages to implement additional query processing logic;
• a set of useful modules included in the assembly: for working with headers, implementing sticking, determining the country and city by IP, tunneling TLS connections, etc.;
• "slow start" functionality for nodes that have just been entered into balancing, and improving the mechanism for checking the configuration with a large number of balancing groups and nodes in them.

Platform V SynGX comes as packages software RPM for Alt Linux and. distribution kit Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Sber Tech employees carry out the third support line.
