The Paperless Office project was launched at Rostelecom in November 2021. Its goal ― to reduce paper document management by seven times and increase the share of electronic document management (EDM) to 90%. At the end of 2022, the volume of used paper decreased by 55%, the share of EDO increased to 80% compared to 2021.
To reduce paper document circulation, Rostelecom is restructuring business processes through digitalization and abandoning outdated types of documents, increasing electronic document circulation, and developing modern exchange tools. information So, in 2022, the transition to was made, domestic software which made it possible to significantly improve the quality of analytics from printing devices and significantly reduce the volume of printing. The company also changed the process of formalizing contractual relations with agents through an offer, transferred mass types of documents to EDO, launched a service for the production of enhanced qualified for electronic signature personnel documents. Regular measures are being taken to reduce printing volumes and increase the share of electronic document management.
