2023: Funding growth to RUB 177 bln

924 billion rubles are provided for the implementation of the national project "Demography" in 2023. This amount was named in June 2023 by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova. Earlier, she reported that in 2022, 747 billion rubles were provided for the implementation of the Demography national project.

"In terms of funding, the Demography national project remains the largest of all national projects," Golikova said during a meeting with the regions on the progress of the Demography national project and its federal projects in 2023.

According to her, in 2023 it is planned to commission 18 social service facilities in 16 regions with a total capacity of 2060 beds. By June 10, 2023, two objects were launched - in the Kursk region and the Republic of Buryatia.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that as part of the implementation of the national project in January-June 2023, 6 preschool education facilities have already been commissioned. In addition, 80 sports facilities are scheduled to be commissioned in 2023. Currently, 7 objects have been commissioned - in the Leningrad Region, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Kamchatka Territory, Kaliningrad and Lipetsk Regions.

In conclusion, Tatyana Golikova instructed the governors to take personal control of the construction of facilities, take the necessary measures to comply with the schedules for construction and installation work and the timely commissioning of all planned facilities in 2023.

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection RFAnton Kotyakov said that in 2022 the planned indicators for the share of citizens older than working age and disabled people who received social services were exceeded. Such assistance was provided by 7.8 million elderly people and citizens with disabilities. In 2023, it is planned to cover almost 8 million people with social services.[1]
