2023: Implementation of Naumen Enterprise Search

The Coordination Center of the Government of the Russian Federation, created to ensure the operational and coordinated actions of federal and regional executive bodies, as well as organizations in the implementation of special projects and priority tasks of the Government of the Russian Federation, introduced a corporate search based on the Russian PONaumen Enterprise Search. Thanks to artificial intelligence technologies inside the system, users can quickly find information even in an unfamiliar subject area or presented in the form of an image without a text layer. Naumen announced this on June 27, 2023.

The Coordination Center, based on the Naumen Enterprise Search solution, provides a single point of access to more than 100,000 documents uploaded to various internal systems. The implementation of the project took less than six months.

Thanks to the technologies of data analysis and language processing used in the Naumen solution - distributive semantics and algorithmic machine learning, users can find a "smart" search. The system builds links between files, users, projects, or incidents to quickly discover the required documents. Naumen Enterprise Search also provides for the personalization of search results: the solution takes into account the history of views, thanks to which users get more accurate results.

The concept model implemented in the project, which includes common vocabulary, terms and synonyms, allows the system to refine requests and thereby make it easier for users to search for a document even in an unfamiliar subject area. Since the solution supports extracting content from most known file formats, including graphics without a text layer, users can find even non-text documents, such as scans, on demand.

The tasks of the Coordination Center are to work with large amounts of data, as well as speed up the processing of incoming orders. The enterprise search system based on Naumen Enterprise Search made it possible to process data on all query topics much faster and better. The integration capabilities of the product, in turn, made it possible to easily and quickly integrate the corporate search system into our IT landscape, "said Andrey Belikov, Head of the Business Process Automation Department of the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.
