The Analytical Center is a key institute for organizing work with external experts in the development and implementation of projects of the Main Areas of Activity of the Government of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2012 and monitoring projects of the Presidential Commission for the Modernization and Technological Development of the Russian Economy.

The purpose of the analytical center is to provide information that allows the Russian government to warn in advance of significant circumstances that contribute to or impede the achievement of the main results of state programs and projects for socio-economic development.

History

2021

Exclusion from the management of the national program "Digital Economy"

ANO "Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation" (ANO AC) will be excluded from the management of the national program "Digital Economy." The functions of the project office will be transferred to the Ministry of Digital Affairs. The changes are spelled out in the draft government decree published on regulation.gov.ru December 29, 2021. The draft was prepared by the Ministry of Digital Affairs. More details here.

Creation of a center for the implementation of the federal project "Artificial Intelligence"

In July 2021, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree approving the creation of an expertise center for the implementation of the federal project "Artificial Intelligence" as part of the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation. More details here.

2020

Konstantin Kalinin appointed head of AC

Konstantin Kalinin was appointed the new head of the analytical center under the government of the Russian Federation. This is stated in the order of the Government of the Russian Federation, published on its official website on January 28, 2020. More details here.

2019: Joining the Big Data Association

On July 25, 2019, the Big Data Association (ABD) announced that it would join the organization of the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.

The analytical center under the Government of the Russian Federation became the tenth member of the association, along with Yandex, Mail.Ru Group, Sberbank, Gazprombank, Tinkoff Bank, MegaFon, oneFactor, QIWI and Rostelecom.

The analytical center under the Government of the Russian Federation will take part in all activities of the association, including the development of fundamental documents aimed at the development of the domestic big data market: strategies for the development of the big data market, a code of ethics for the use of data, national standards for data enrichment from various sources.

Vladislav Onishchenko appointed head of AC

On August 18, 2018, in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation, Onishchenko Vladislav Valerievich was appointed head of the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation.

The head of the AC Konstantin Noskov has been appointed Minister of Digital Development of Russia

On May 18, President Vladimir Putin approved the candidacy of Konstantin Noskov on the proposal of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev as Minister of Digital Development of Russia.
