2023: Testing of domestic analogues of foreign project management systems

"Дом.РФ" began testing several domestic programs that in the future will be able to completely replace the foreign Jira - a project management system consisting of large teams. This was reported to TAdviser on August 8, 2023 by representatives of Дом.РФ. Testing will be carried out until the end of 2023. All software is in the corresponding software registry of the Ministry of Digital Engineering of Russia.

One of the tested import-independent solutions is EvaProject. This software was developed with the support of the Russian Information Technology Development Fund within the framework of the national program "Digital Economy."

Another software tested by Дом.РФ is the development of TeamStorm, which is part of the Russian Yoonion holding. The commercial release of the TeamStorm collaboration management system was launched in late 2022.

"Project management software such as EvaProject and TeamStorm is not part of a critical IT infrastructure, however, it directly concerns all development teams. Taking into account the emphasis of "Дом.РФ" on its own development, the introduction of Russian software is of high importance for us, "said Anton Petukhov, Deputy Director for IT and Digital Transformation of" Дом.РФ. "

In addition, Дом.РФ also tests programs for managing production processes SberTrack (Sberbank), Kaiten (Kaiten Software) and project management systems Sfera.Tasks. (T1 Digital). To evaluate the functionality of solutions, "Дом.РФ" uses On-Cloud technology.

"We are focused on the phased implementation of our TeamStorm system in the Дом.РФ IT infrastructure and pay special attention to its functionality and flexibility so that it can be integrated into different departments of the group of companies," said TeamStorm CEO Mikhail Ustinov.

In general, "Дом.РФ" acts as a test platform for domestic digital products at an early stage of their development (MVP). Based on the results of the assessment and implementation, the Development Institute provides detailed feedback and recommendations to facilitate the emergence of business-friendly services.

"We are now faced with an important task of transferring the largest companies in Russia from Jira to domestic software. We are already ready to offer functionality similar to foreign solutions. Therefore, Russian companies have room to migrate and import substitution of disconnected products, "said EvaTeam Managing Director Denis Kuchaev.

It is expected that the implementation of the project on import substitution of the system for setting tasks and monitoring their implementation will allow "Дом.РФ" to comply with the standard of indicators of the effectiveness of the transition to the use of domestic software in the class "Project Management Tools," established in accordance with the Methodological Recommendations for the digital transformation of state corporations and companies with state participation, as well as those enshrined in the Дом.РФ Digital Transformation Strategy for 2022-2024.

The decision to acquire a particular project management system will be made in "Дом.РФ" on the basis of open procurement procedures.
