Yourtunes is a Russian music distribution service. The platform helps to distribute tracks on streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, VK Music, Yandex.Music, BOOM, YouTube Music, Tunes), receive digital copyright certificates, cooperate with film and advertising companies. According to the service's own data, more than 2,000 artists are working with him by August 2023.

On the day of release, the user of the service receives a universal link to all sites, and can also track listening statistics in his personal account. Every month the artist receives payments on his card. The service also helps musicians obtain digital copyright certificates, begin to cooperate with film companies and advertising agencies in the direction of music synchronization and the sale of soundtracks.

The startup was founded at the end of 2020 by Dmitry Koltsov and Mikhail Shorin.

History

2025: Attracting ₽20 Million Investments

In April 2025, it became known that the Russian digital music distribution service Yourtunes attracted ₽20 million investments. The company received funds from the subsidiary fund of the investment company Kama Flow LLC Sulak Capital and the venture capital fund Malina VC.

The funds will be aimed at increasing the user base, automating processes and entering new market segments. The company demonstrated a dynamic growth of 3.7 times per year - in 2023, the service's revenue amounted to ₽5,8 million, and in 2024 it grew to ₽22 million.

Russian service for publishing music Yourtunes attracted ₽30 million investments

Launched in 2020, Yourtunes offers independent artists a full cycle of solutions, from automated download of releases to streaming platforms to monetization and promotion. The platform allows musicians to retain 100% of revenue and copyright through a subscription mechanism and focus on DIY artists.

Earlier, the startup has already attracted ₽16 million from Andrei Makeev, founder of the international online flower delivery platform Flowwow, and Roman Loginov. In addition, the company won the MTS Startup HUB program and entered the RB Choice 100 rating among the most promising companies in the industry.

Kama Flow investment manager Ilya Merkulov noted that the music industry is seriously changing, and it is critically important for musicians to remain independent in it. According to him, the service is already showing steady growth in Russia and is taking the first steps to enter the Latin American market. Cooperation is aimed at scaling business, developing new technological solutions and creating an ecosystem in which original artists can effectively monetize their work.

2023: Raising $200,000 in investments

In August 2023, it became known about the investment of $200 thousand in Yourtunes. The financing round was headed by Andrey Makeev, co-owner of the Flowwow flowers and gifts marketplace, and the parties did not disclose the terms of the deal.

As Forbes writes with reference to the co-founder of Yourtunes Mikhail Shorin, the funds raised will be used to scale the project and finalize its products.

During the operation of the platform, more than 15,000 music releases were released. Payments to artists exceeded $200 thousand (data for August 2023). The service offers several tariffs - from 95 to 365 rubles per month. In all cases, the artist receives 100% of the income.[1]
