ScanKass introduced an update to its monitoring service on April 15, 2025 cash register equipment, added collection support in version 0.13.4.8 technical information on fiscal drives (PVs) via the driver.

For example, the validity period may change, for example, when changing the taxation system (SNO), but these changes are not displayed in the personal accounts of the OFD, which misleads the business.
3. Check via CCT driver . Allows you to get accurate data, but requires technical skills. It is this scan option that ScanKass uses in the new update.

In version 0.13.4.7, ScanKass provided only basic control PV operability. Tracked:

• availability of a physical connection,
• no power and contact problems, including power loss or unstable connection, e.g. due to contact oxidation.

Such control made it possible to identify physical failures, but did not give an idea about the validity period or degree of filling of PV memory.

With the release of update 0.13.4.8, the situation has changed dramatically. Now ScanKass integrates with CCP drivers and automatically requests key PV status information:

• the number of remaining days before the expiration date,
• Memory occupancy percentage,
• fiscal errors and system warnings.

Thanks to this function, the service can send notifications responsible employees in Telegram or by e-mail at approaching the end of the PV period (in 30 days) or memory overflow (by default - when 90% is reached).

ScanKass 0.13.4.8 enhances centralized capabilities monitoring of cash register equipment. Timely warning about critical parameters of fiscal drives allows retailers to reduce operational risks, plan to replace devices in advance and avoid downtime associated with CCP shutdown.

2023: ScanKass App Launch

Entrepreneurs from Udmurtia have launched the ScanKass application for online checking of cash registers and programs in retail outlets for failures and errors in operation. According to the creators of the project, its goal is to help retail chains and non-chain stores minimize losses from the forced downtime of faulty cash registers. ScanKass (PBX) announced this on August 17, 2023.

ScanKass is installed on the PC used by the store, to which the cash register is connected, and monitors errors in the background. These can be errors of the fiscal accumulator, sales of alcoholic beverages, check cancellation operations, etc., up to the failure of the clock at the checkout. Data is sent to the server and processed according to certain rules.

There are critical errors that the store system administrator must immediately respond to, and there are those that he simply needs to know about in order to fix later. The app will point it out. Therefore, there can be no situations when the cash desk has stood up or is about to stand up due to a failure in the program. We know in advance about the failure and automatically inform the client. Any simple cash register is a direct loss for the outlet, and often quite serious, "said Evgeny Telitsyn, co-founder and head of ScanKass.

In addition, the application generates error statistics for any period with recommendations for their elimination, as well as the visual structure of cash registers in all retail outlets with fixing serial numbers and registration validity periods, fiscal accumulator, fiscal data operator transmitting them to the Federal Tax Service, electronic digital signatures, etc.

Constant diagnostics help to extend the life of the equipment and avoid the risks of serious technical breakdowns in advance, due to which the cash desk may not function for a long time or require replacement. Based on the error statistics collected by the program, you can calculate the technical problem and plan repairs in advance, - said Evgeny Telitsyn.

According to the co-founder and development director of ScanKass Sergey Sitnikov, the application can monitor the operation of cash registers of any manufacturers using the 1C and Frontol software environment. Manufacturers of cash registers only install software on them and update it, but do not monitor the work. There are also programs that track the work of exclusively cash registers, while ScanKass allows you to monitor the entire range of equipment used by the cashier.

In Udmurtia, back in 2015, we established a company that helped stores switch to work in the EGAIS alcohol accounting automation system. We advised clients on working with the program, and later launched a technical support service (which, as of August 2023, in addition to Udmurtia, operates in the Tyumen region, Perm Territory and the Republic of Tatarstan), as well as a service center for the repair of cash registers. However, the software on which EAGIS is based often failed. To receive all the necessary data about them and quickly eliminate, we created a special monitoring program.
