This was Vologda Regional Energy Company To Vologda announced on August 22, 2023 in the company "Jet Infosystems."

The systems of access control and control (MCDS), security and fire alarm, video surveillance used in VOEK are outdated and no longer meet the requirements for functionality and reliability. In this regard, the management of the energy company decided to modernize the infrastructure and build a single platform with the ability to integrate security systems both at existing and other facilities of the enterprise.

Previously, we did not have a unified security system for all branches of the company, and employees went to the enterprise using a regular magnetic card. We needed a solution that would allow us to combine security systems at VOEK facilities into a single complex in order to more effectively manage them,
commented Alexey Novozhilov, Technical Director-First Deputy General Director of VOEK.

The specialists of Jet Infosystems organized a multifactorial identification of employees. The installation of MCDS with the ability to add video analytics functions and the integration of other security systems has improved the effectiveness of monitoring the passage of employees to the enterprise.

One of the tasks of the project was the automation of access control on the territory of VOEK. On the entrance turnstiles, the system uses thermal sensors to measure the body temperature of employees and check them for alcohol vapors. The use of these devices will help reduce the incidence of workers during periods of epidemics and will eliminate the likelihood of personnel passing while intoxicated.

Automobile checkpoints of the Vologda branch of VOEK were equipped with a video surveillance system. Video cameras checkpoints are integrated with the video analytics system, which checks the recognized license plate of the car with the base numbers of the object, and also checks the availability of the driver's admission to control the transport vehicle. The system is also able to automatically organize reverse traffic at the checkpoint. This approach made it possible to automate access control at the enterprise and speed up the process of entry and exit of cars.

In order to create an integrated enterprise security system, IT company specialists integrated MCDS, a video surveillance system with the Russian Intellect platform. It allows you to collect real-time data on the operation of security systems and manage them from a single interface.
