The National Archive of the Republic of Tuva has supplied the domestic planetary scanning complex ElarScan A2-600R. This was announced on August 23, 2023 by Elar.

The National Archive of the Republic of Tuva contains rare archival documents, including in Old Mongol, as well as sheets of periodicals, various posters and posters of non-standard sizes of historical, scientific and cultural significance.

Specialists of the National Archive of the Republic of Tuva are working on the digitization of documents and the introduction of their electronic images into the AIS used in the archive. The delivered ElarScan planetary scanning complex will A2-600R make it possible to digitize large-format and cross-linked archival documents, periodicals, the Archive explained.

The planetary scanner is equipped with a professional CMOS RGB 50-megapixel camera, which expands the ability to use a scanner to digitize graphics, damaged documents and low-contrast texts. The device is capable of streaming scanning stitched and embroidered documents in format up to A2 + in any physical state, requiring careful attitude during digitization. Built-in computer domestic software and allows you to receive - with the PDFfiles ability to full-text search.

The creation of a single archive database and automation of the scientific reference apparatus will allow specialists of the National Archive of the Republic of Tuva not only to save archival documents, but also to provide access online.
