2021: Tomsk Region Digital Transformation Strategy

In August 2021, the Governor of the Tomsk Region, Zhvachkin Sergey Anatolyevich, approved the Strategy in the field of digital transformation of sectors of the economy, social sphere and public administration of the Tomsk Region for 2022-2024. 2020: Ex-Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation appointed curator of digital transformation of the Tomsk region

At the end of November 2020, the governor of the Tomsk region, Sergei Zhvachkin, blamed his deputy for the scientific and educational complex, Lyudmila Ogorodova, for digital transformation in the region. 2017: Tomsk region: second place in investment

Investments in the Tomsk region reached 106.8 billion rubles, and it took second place in the rating of the development of the Siberian Federal District, losing first place only to Krasnoyarsk.

Investment indicators agriculture increased 2.3 times, minerals in the field of mineral extraction 4.4% more capital was attracted, and in the transport system and communications - by 12.9%. However, it should be noted that manufacturing enterprises have reduced investment indicators by 5.5%.

There is also an increase in activity in mortgage lending and economic activities of enterprises. Compared to 2015, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities brought almost 2 times more capital to the region's economy.

The Tomsk region reached the 12th line in the National Rating of the state of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, improving its position by eleven points.
